Fun fact: Thanksgiving is typically the busiest day of the running year. So many Turkey Trots, not enough time!

If you usually participate in Turkey Trots, which one is your fav? More often than not, Thanksgiving morning is just another run for me — no race, but instead a fun run with friends, maybe — but my fav Thanksgiving morning race is the Home Run for the Homeless back in northeast Ohio. It’s an amazing cause and carries with it the novelty of being the only race I’ve ever done where participants have to run through a cemetery as part of the race course (and from what I remember, it’s hilly!).
